Delivery Areas

We are currently delivering to built up areas around South East Queensland area. In the near future, we may offer a new service into New South Wales, North Queensland, and Victoria. To see if we can deliver to your area, go to the Shipping page and enter your postcode.

Courier Company

We currently offer delivery via Fastways Courier. They offer a reliable and fast delivery service. By purchasing from us, you agree to use Fastways as the courier company for your order, and you agree that you have used them before and are happy with their service.

Freight Charges

Freight estimates made during the ordering process online are only estimates, and the actual quote from the courier company may differ. In some cases, the courier company may not service your area. In the case that your freight cost does change, we will notify you by email of any additional freight charges. At that point, you can decide if you wish to go ahead with the order.

Pickup your Order from the Collection Point (if necessary)

In some rural areas of Australia, the courier company may not be able to deliver directly to your door.  In this scenario, they will notify you that they are leaving your plants at a local collection depot (eg. the local post office). If your plants are left at a collection area and you are not able to pick them up in a timely manner, then we are not liable for any damage/losses to the plants’ health. You need to be responsible for your purchase. In this case, you will not be refunded for the plants or the delivery charges.

Public Holidays

If your order was meant to be sent in a week that has a public holiday, it will be delayed until the following week.

Address Information

Please ensure the name and address on your order are correct. The shipping label will be appear exactly as you enter it.  If it contains incorrect and/or insufficient details, Ladybird Nursery will not be held liable for replacement or additional shipping costs.

Payment Before Delivery

Payment must be received by Ladybird Nursery prior to packing and sending your items. If a payment is not successful or only part of the payment is received, we will contact you and you will have 2 days to pay. If the full payment is not received within 2 days, the order will either be cancelled or the outstanding items removed and the order sent without them. The decision on which plants to be removed so that only the paid for plants can be sent is made by our staff on the day. Please note, after an order is cancelled all items go immediately back into stock and can be purchased by other customers.

Returns and Refunds

Ladybird Nursery can assure you every possible care is taken when producing and selling fruit trees and plants from our nursery. We do our best to ensure plants are packages securely so they arrive at the destination in top quality condition. However, plants are living things and there is a possibility that things could go wrong during transit. For this reason we have a Returns & Refunds Policy in place.

Missing Items

In the event that your order is missing one or more items. The missing item will be refunded plus the appropriate portion of the freight costs. eg. If 5 plants were purchased then the amount of freight refunded would be 1/5th per plant missing from the freight.

Privacy and Security Policy

Ladybird Nursery has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our strong commitment to your privacy.

Some of our site’s pages including the shopping cart requires users to give us contact information such as their name and email address and demographic information including private address and postcode. This information is used to enable us to keep in touch with our customers. This may include a phone call, SMS or email to confirm safe arrival of an order, sending our monthly newsletter, or advising customers of related issues that we feel may be of interest to them.

We also collect visitor’s financial information that is used to process the payment for the plant orders. We respect our customer’s wishes and ask that should they wish to do so they email to request that we no longer forward any of the information mentioned above. We use up-to-date industry standard encryption security for our credit card transactions. We have never had any customers report fraudulent use of a credit card as a result of purchases made with us. We do not retain your financial records. For future orders you will be required to reenter your credit card details.
